General
Hockey Outlet ships most in-stock items within 1 to 2 business days of an order being placed. International and/or special orders (i.e., jerseys with custom numbering) may require additional time to ship. The shipping method you choose at checkout will determine the arrival date of your order.
Hockey Outlet is able to ship most of the items on its website anywhere in the world. Some manufacturers though, require that we only sell their products within the United States. Restricted products will be noted on the Hockey Outlet website as ‘Item only available for shipment within the United States’.
Domestic Orders
The shipping rates listed below are approximations only and are based on the size and weight of the packages. Some items may be subject to additional ‘oversized’ charges. Please see the section below titled ‘Oversized Items’ for an explanation of this policy.
All domestic shipping quotes have a $2.99 service fee built into the cost. The service fee covers any and all related costs associated with shipping the order to you.

International Orders
All international orders will be verified with the bank issuing the credit card prior to the order being shipped. Please allow 2-3 business days to verify all billing information. You will be contacted either by phone or e-mail if the information cannot be verified. Verifications are required and are done for your security. We appreciate your patience in processing your information.
International shipments can take approximately one business week (Monday - Friday) or more to arrive at their destination.
International shipping costs are quoted in UPS dollars due to the varying package size restrictions of the postal services in each country. On the other hand, all international orders will be tested against those size restrictions prior to shipment and if the package can be sent at a lower cost via the USPS, we will automatically adjust the shipping method and pass the cost savings on to you. We will notify you via e-mail should this occur.
All international shipping quotes given on this site are for freight costs only and DO NOT contain any possible import tariffs they may be levied on the customer by the receiving country. Hockey Outlet does not know in advance what these import tariffs will be and has no way of quoting those costs at any time. Please check with you local customs agency for any information regarding import tariffs.

Oversized Items
Hockey Outlet makes every attempt to ensure that the shipping charges shown on your electronic order form are fair and accurate. Unfortunately, with some items, shipping costs can increase dramatically due to the required amount of space (dimensional weight) on the plane or truck that it takes to ship these items to their respective destinations. Dimensional weight is calculated by adding the packages length plus girth. All packages that exceed 84" for level 1 and 108" for level 2 have higher billable weights due to their increased shipping size. Items that are considered oversized currenlty include most 40" length senior and goalie wheel bags and all senior goalie leg pads.
Free Shipping
Hockey outlet currently offers FREE UPS Ground shipping anywhere within the continental United States on ALL phone and internet orders over $139.99. See below for details and restrictions.
APO and FPO military addresses are included in this offer.
Alaska and Hawaii are excluded but we are now offering low cost ground shipping to both states.
Our $2.99 handling fee is still applied to all orders.
Oversize items (i.e. goalie and some senior wheel bags, senior goalie leg pads) are excluded.
Shipping Promotions
Shipping promotions are only available for orders shipped within the continental United States. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded but we are now offering low cost ground shipping to both states. Standard practices will still apply for all international orders.
